The copyright ...

... of Internet issues is pretty complicated stuff. Sure, if you copy copyrighted material, you are into serious trouble. But if you gather information about movies, actors and other people of public interested, there is no way of getting a copyright.

That sort of information by its very nature is public domain and therefor not covered by any copyright law in any country of the world ...

But listen ... if you think copying our entire site for that reason would be acceptable, then you´re wrong!

Gathering all the information is a lot of work and has kept a lot of people busy for some years! So you have to understand that we are very, very concerned about having our work stolen by people and used to make their own site more appealing to visitors.

Don´t get confused ... you are explicitly allowed to look up any data and the filmography of your favorite actor, actress or whatever and use that data to make your fanpage/homepage complete! Providing you with that sort of information is what our sites are all about.

Only if you steal the entire site ... then you´re calling for trouble. And since there´s no legal way of shutting down your site, we will use ours to let everyone know what you´ve done - your site and especially the section with the information stolen from us will be highlighted on our Blacklist ...
